This letter is a long over due thanks for the marvelous moving job Arrow Moving did for us, and especially for Derricks careful attention. From start to finish, our move, from a co-op in Park Slope to a house 10 blocks away, was a total success and easily set us up for a great start in our new home.
We had what must have been a vary complicated move, because we repeatedly needed to change our moving date. David completely accommodated this, and all in good humor. But the tone and skill of Arrow Moving was apparent from our very first encounter. When Mike came to give me an estimate, he was extremely through, and clearly outlined all my options. Furthermore, he showed us how to properly pack our china, advised us on the number of boxes we needed, and checked in with us repeatedly to see how were were doing in the days preceding the move.
All this preparation paid off, because things couldn't have gone smoother on the actual day of the move. The moving team was friendly, courteous and hard working, and the foreman was excellent at his job. We finished sooner than expected, with everything (including our piano and several antiques, including an enormous antique pier mirror) safely moved. In fact nothing at all was damaged in the move.
In sum, I am delighted to recommend Arrow Moving to anyone. The company is honest, fair, thorough and professional. And I especially want to commend David for his hard work and devotion to the job.
